THE CROATIAN WITH THE HOLY FAMILY, gilded bronze, 17th century

A baroque home stoup with an extensive iconographic setting. P. it represents the Holy Family accompanied by a little Baptist.

Mary, surrounded by boys, looks at Joseph, who is eloquently pointing his hand at heaven. The whole is framed by meandering acanthus. Topped with a cross with two angel heads.

The actual vessel for water is hidden in the sculptural representation of Christ's head.
