An interesting vase, decorated with dripstone glaze. During the Art Nouveau period, innovative ceramists were partly inspired by vases from the Far East, admiring their colors as well as the spontaneity and uniqueness of the decorations. Such ceramics are sometimes called "reaction" ceramics, as reactions to traditional European ceramics.

The offered vase was made in the small Debac factory, founded by Rene Derbert, it existed with breaks until 1952. The innovative experiences of French ceramists also reached Poland, where vases with dripstone decorations were made by Stanisław Jagmin.
