VASE WITH mistletoe, Austria, Art Nouveau, circa 1900
A wide, stylized vase with a bulky belly and a voluminous neck. The handles are inscribed in the body of the vessel. And the surface of the walls received a convex floral decoration.
The whole thing is placed on a narrow ornamental foot with intertwined sprigs of mistletoe. They rush upwards, arranging themselves in a free floral arrangement.
