TWO CHINESE VASES, signed, ceramics, 17th century

A pair of stately vases with elongated bellies tapering downwards. The wide necks were covered with domed lids topped with large pinnacles.

Decorated with a mosaic of piled up hexagons, reminiscent of a hexagonal arrangement of bee combs. They present city landscapes, floral compositions and selective architectural assumptions.
