Nude showing a woman probably after leaving the bath. A slightly idealized and synthetic view of the body is characteristic of early art deco artists. The act is somewhat reminiscent of classical Greek sculptures with numerous images of Venus emerging from the bath.

Lucien Charles Eduar Alliot (1877-1967), a student of Coutan and Barrias, exhibited his sculptures at the Paris Salon from 1896 to 1930, and in 1920 received a gold medal for his work.
