THE BUST OF A WOMAN IN CHEPC, G. van Vaerenbergh, Belgium, 19th / 20th century
The bust of a young thoughtful woman with a wide headdress.
The girl was presented in a coat with a high collar, under which a cascade of jabot comes out.
Head slightly tilted, subtly reminiscent of listening. The facial features were drawn extremely delicately. The whole thing is completed by the great precision of the chisel.
