Antoni, shown in monastic robes, he refuses to be seen by the women who lure him. The women flex their naked bodies, encircling the hermit with a dance ring.

Albert Carrier - Belleuse (1824-1887) - French sculptor, officially supported by Napoleon III. A teacher of many great artists, such as Auguste Rodin or Alexandre Falguiere. His works gained international recognition. Today they can be seen in many eminent cultural institutions, such as: Musé e d'Orsay and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
