Raphaël Charles Peyre (1872 Paris - 1949 Paris) - student of incl. famous sculptor Alexandre Falgière. His works will show, above all, allegorical and symbolic themes. He exhibited for the first time at the Paris Salon in 1893, and in 1902 and 1903, winning medals at exhibitions. He created works in marble, plaster, bronze, terracotta, many of his monumental works are in public space, such as "Toilette de la jeune fille" in Courbevoie or "Harmonies" in Perpignan.
