Georges Dayez (1907-1991) - French painter and lithographer, lover of kubizum, especially Geogres Braque. His career path was marked by many difficulties - lack of money for education, war. He has regularly exhibited his works since 1944, and in the 1950s and 1960s he has numerous individual pieces all over the world. Not only does his art travel, but he also visits Europe and the United States. He also taught other artists, managing the lithography work at the Academy.

Graphics showing the view of Toledo - a city in central Spain, full of architectural pearls. It was an inspiration for artists, enough to mention the famous landscapes of El Greco. The view of the city has been filtered through a cubist view, it has been geometrized, synthesized and the rules of perspective have been rejected. The artist managed to reflect the specificity of this place by distinguishing the arcades of the bridge, the Alcazar towers and the cathedral spire.
