Kurt Meyer Eberhardt (1895-1977) - German artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Weimar. Known for his animalistic graphics.

Franz Hanfstaengl (1807-1877) - painter, lithographer, founder of one of the most famous lithographic works. The company, founded in 1833, operated long after his death, and in the late 19th century it employed 100 people.
