Thomas Lawrence (1769-1830) - leading portraitist of the English aristocracy, president of the Royal Academy. Initially, he painted with pastels, but with time oil paints became his medium. Being one of the leading English painters, he worked until his death.

Antoine-Valérie Bertrand - born in 1823. French engraver and engraver. Student of Henry Brown and later Henry Harrison. His works enjoyed particular recognition among French and English audiences. To this day, they can be admired in the British Museum.
