É douard Jules Chimot (1880-1959) - French illustrator and engraver. He studied with Pharaoh de Winter at the School of Fine Arts in Lille and with Alexis Mossy at the State School of Decorative Arts in Nice. He liked to present young models, creating erotic works mainly in the spirit of art deco. After World War I, he moved his studio frome = "color: # 000000; font-size: 16px;">Montmatre on Boulevard de Rochechouart. Eventually, he accepted the position of artistic director of É ditions d'Art Devambez - a publishing house that publishes exclusive books on art. As a result of the outbreak of World War II, he moved to Spain, where he continued to work until his return to Paris.
