One of one hundred and fifteen copies published by Gustaw Gebethner and August Wolff - a distinguished book business established in 1857 in Warsaw.

It was enriched with illustrations by Piotr Stachiewicz, one of the Krakow students of Jan Matejko and Florian Cynek.
