TWO STANDING LAMPS, glass, iron, wood, 19th century

A pair of standing lamps with wide, delicately bent arms.

Enriched with elongated decorations ending with glass tears. Long, pearled festoons were hung between the arms.

Each of the lamps was mounted on a baluster shaft. Its bulges are decorated with vertical palmettes and twisting roccaile. The whole is placed on a round, piled foot.

Preservation condition: visible in the photos; originally they were candlesticks, which were converted into lamps at the end of the 19th century.
