JEWISH LAMP, bronze, 19th century

A piled up lamp with a straight neck with bellied noduses. It was enriched with an openwork crown preceded by a free linear composition.

The crown, based on a winding arrangement of pinnacles, is an analogous decoration of the arms. Their ends are supported by sleeves with wide profits imitating the elements of a candlestick.

The whole thing was mounted on a star, from which an empty oil vessel was hung.
