Antoine Vestier (1740-1824) - the famous French portraitist, in 1785 he was admitted to the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris. He portrayed many famous characters, including the famous royal ebenist Jean Henri Riesener whose portrait from 1786 is in the Palace of Versailles. Many of his works are added to the collections of world museums. Father of the painter Marie-Nicole Vestier.
