PORTRAIT IN BLĘKIC, A. Capocci, pastel, Italy (?), 1916

Portrait of a girl. The heroine has beautiful, long brown hair and hazel eyes. The artist decided to complement them with blue - this is the color of the dress and the bow worn by the girl and the background. The heroine presents the viewer with a serious face. It is hard not to find a shadow of sadness in her eyes - at the beginning of the 20th century the blue color gained such connotation, mainly thanks to the works of Picasso.
