A pair of portraits in the same color scheme. The portraits most likely show the spouses or siblings - the two same frames suggest that the images were made at the same time and were to be presented together. The creator introduced an interesting distinction in the way of presenting the characters. The man was shown in en trois quarts while the woman almost en face. Could this be to draw attention to the differences in the characters' characters?
