André Michel (1900-1972) - French engraver and illustrator, running his atelier at 40 rue Boissonade in Paris. He studied at the Parisian École des Baux-Arts, under the watchful eye of Émile Renard. His works were characterized by harmony and simplification. He exhibited his works at many individual and collective exhibitions. Most of them came from distinguished private collections.
