Established in 1886, the Factory of Silver and Gold Metal Products Roman Plewkiewicz & Co before World War I offered its products in its own store at Długa Street in Warsaw and in the elegant Jaskólski warehouse located at Wierzbno Street. Decorated in an Art Nouveau and eclectic style, Plewkiewicz's cutlery and dishes were characterized by a characteristic combination of plating with colored glass and inlaid metal. Until today, appreciated by experts in exceptional tableware, Roman Plewkiewicz's products can be found, among others, in the collections of the Secession Museum in Płock.
