ORIVIT - a manufacturer of artistic tin and silver products founded by Ferdinand Hubert Schmitz at the end of the 19th century in Cologne. It was taken over by WMF in 1905. It was awarded a gold medal at the Universal Exposition in Paris in 1900. Thanks to the use of high-quality tin called "Orivit-Metall" and "Orivit-Silber-Zinn", the products of this factory enjoyed equal success, making tableware of the famous Kayser Sohn manufactory.
