A transparent robe, revealing the girl's shapely body, falls from her slender shoulders. It is under its swirled material that a star-shaped symbol was placed, referring to a woman's place in the sky.

Eutrope Bouret (1833-1906) - French sculptor trained under the supervision of Louis Buhot. From 1875, he regularly exhibited his works at the French Salons, receiving a distinction in 1885. He eagerly reached for historical and mythological themes. He performed his works in both bronze and marble.
