The sculpture shows the bust of the Apsara Dancer. Apsara in Indian mythology are the goddesses of water, mists and clouds (the name ap-sara literally means "who came out of the water"). The figures of apsaras are still part of the canon in traditional dances of Southeast Asia. Her images have already appeared on bas-reliefs. temples in Angkor Wat from the 12th and 13th centuries The sculpture is made of patinated bronze, inlaid with silver and copper.
