WATCH STAND, wood, 18th century

A watch stand based on winding, auricular straps. Crimped ribbons fly upwards straight to the cartouche framed in symmetrical roccails. The whole is topped with rooster combs.

At the base there is a sculptural representation of a child playing with a basket of sundries.
