The sculpture shows Guanyin (sanctity: Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara). Guanyin is a Bodhisattva personifying compassion, his name means "to observe sounds", that is, to listen to requests. The goddess is dressed in decorative garments with floral decorations and a necklace. With his right hand he performs the gesture of "shunya mudra" or "heavenly mudra" with therapeutic properties. On the other hand, the left one performs the “karana mudra” gesture, i.e. the gesture of driving away demons and evil, it helps to remove all bad emotions: fear, hatred, depression.
