The girl was presented in full armor with her arms raised up. In one hand he holds the tree of the missing banner, the other indicates the place of attack.

Standing on a small hill, it leans towards the French troops. In this way, he calls for a fight in the name of national liberation values.

Adrien É tienne Gauden (1845 - 1902) - French sculptor, student of the great Francois Jouffroy. During his studies at the Parisian Ecole des Beaux - Arts, he took a liking to foundry works. He created many monumental works that are still present in the city space. He is known, among others from the Monument to Jean Pierre Claris de Florian in Alès and the Monument to the Fallen in Remiremont.
