In his right hand he holds a mirror with a characteristic elliptical frame. Leaning down, she examines herself in it, adjusting her thick hair.

Santiago Jose Chierico (1891-1974) - Argentine representative of sculpture. He studied at Talleres de Decoracion de la Nacion. From 1920, he took part in national art salons, where he exhibited both individual and collective works. He received a number of awards for his works, including the Acquisition Award at Salon de La Plata, which he won in 1922. With time, he became the head of the Sculpture Studio of the School of Fine Arts and Decorative and Industrial Arts, belonging to the National University of Tucumá n.
