Figurine group depicting the eponymous personification of Twilight.

The winged woman is shown in full act. Her slender, curved body is reminiscent of a crescent shape.

With his raised arms, he darkens the lamp, looking fondly at the sleeping putti. Safe in the shadow of their mother's wings, they fell into a sound, restful sleep.

The marble version of "Le Crepusuele" was exhibited in 1883 at the Paris Salon. She was awarded a gold medal and then purchased for the Elysée Palace. Due to its popularity, the Thié baut foundry bought the rights to edit the bronze model.

É mile Boisseau (1842-1923) - French sculptor studying with Auguste Dumont and Jean Marie Bonnassieux inÉ cole des Baux Arts. From 1868, he exhibited his works at the Salons, enjoying wide recognition of the Parisians of that time. He created works for both owners of private residences and key representatives of urban spaces. His sculptures adorn the facades of buildings on rue Drouotand on the Square du Champ de Mars. In 1900 he was awarded the Order of the Legion of Honor.
