A spherical sugar bowl mounted on a wide, flat foot. It is closed with a lid with a pinnacle in the shape of a magnificent forest fruit.

It was enriched with two handles, ended with laurel leaves. The guilloche body is additionally covered with fine dots. In its central place there is an engraved decorative panel with the monogram of the previous owner.

Odiot Studio - a family workshop of French goldsmiths founded by Jean Baptiste Claude, operating since 1785. She specialized in tableware and toiletry. Family members carried out orders for the most eminent rulers of Europe, such as Napoleon, Frederick William III and George IV. Their products can be seen in many prestigious institutions, incl. at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and the Musé e des Arts dé coratifs in Paris.
