René Jules Lalique (1860 - 1945) - Parisian glass artist, jeweler. He became famous during the Art Nouveau period for creating unique, extremely inventive and innovative jewelry. After World War I, he focused on the production of artistic glass, in particular perfume bottles, vases and plates.
