BUCKET SET, Lapparra & Gabriel, France, 1902-1923

A set of twelve Art Nouveau spoons with oval, gold-plated buckets.

Ribbon-pincer faults have their decorative continuation in slender handles. They run straight to the handle, which is topped with a pair of leafy ornaments.

The backs of the handles are enriched with the engraved monogram of the previous owner: "CG".

Henri Lapparra and Georges Gabriel - in the years 1902-1923 they ran their studio at 157 rue du Temple in Paris. They specialized in a table gallery.
