THE SEATING ACT, A. Aublet, bronze, 2nd half of the 19th century Twentieth century

Sitting nude - a sculptural representation of a naked, sitting woman. The artist shows the female body without resorting to idealizing conventions, but she also does not pursue extreme realism. Interesting visual effects are given by the high gloss of the metal.

Annick Aublet - b. 1943 French artist.

Delval Foundry (?).

Patinated bronze.
