TRUBADUR, EL Picault, bronze, 1833-1915
"Le Trouvere" - figure of a troubadour, a French music poet active in the 12th and 13th centuries. The sculptor presented him during the performance, the man has a chafed mouth and concentrates on the instrument. The figure is a symptom of the interest in the Middle Ages present in the 19th century French art, known as the style of the Troubadours.
