Antione BOFILL was born in 1875 in Barcelona, Spain, studied at the Academy of Beaux Arts in Barcelona, and in the following years he established contact with the Parisian world of art. From 1901, he regularly exhibited his works at the prestigious Paris Salons. He was best known for small decorative bronze sculptures. He focused on neoclassical themes, historical scenes, female nudes and animals.le = "color: # 000000; font-size: 16px;">His intricate and realistic works are particularly notable for incorporating bones into miniature bronze castings. He had an unusual practice that set him apart from other sculptors of his time.
