The young woman was shown wandering through the eponymous forest. As she moves, she happily blows on the wooden aulos.

Her body was almost completely exposed. They are covered with transparent drapery girded at the hips and long hair decorated with a delicate hazel headband.

É douard Drouot (1859 - 1945) - French sculptor and graduate of Beaux Arts de Paris. He was tutored by É mile Thomas and Mathurin Moreau. He repeatedly exhibited his works at French Salons, receiving the 3rd class medal in 1892.
