A mantel clock with a figure of a lawyer studying books and scrolls. A man dressed in a Roman, antiquating robe explores the secrets of the agricultural law. An unfolded scroll with the word "Douze Tables" is visible - it refers to the Act of the Twelve Tables, the first codification of Roman law.
The clock beats every 30 cm.
