Irénée Félix René Rochard (1906-1984) - French sculptor. In 1924-1928 he studied sculpture at écoles des Beaux-Arts and Arts Décoratifs. His specialty was sculptures depicting animals, and his style oscillated around the frequent inspirations of art deco sculptors: archaic sculpture or synthetic nabo sculpture. His works are inspired by the works of such artists as Aristide Maillol or Francois Pompon.
