ELEPHANT, patinated bronze, 19th / 20th century

A majestic elephant shown on a small slope. Leaning on four legs, it happily spreads its mouth.

A proboscis moves gently between a pair of tusks, which, following the scent of fruit, rises higher and higher.

Thanks to the right sculpting skills, the artist managed to capture the natural disposition of the animal.
