Württembergische Metallwarnfabrik - German factory operating from 1880 to the present day. Founded by Daniel Straub, at the beginning of the 20th century it became the largest metalwork tycoon. It signed its works with a running ostrich inscribed in a rhombus or frame closed by a semicircle. This animal was the heraldic symbol of the Straub family. Individual, high-class works brought the company a number of awards, including the Grand Prix at exhibitions in Paris in 1900 and Turin in 1902.

A wide platter with an oval body.
An openwork collar surrounds the centralizing bottom with a mythological genre scene. On its surface are placed mischievous children, who are tending a goat, surrounded by abundant vines.
The crest of the vessel received conchoidal rims with hanging festoons. They are preceded by almond medallions topped with powerful bows.
