DANCER, art deco, 20-30s of the 20th century

The ecstatic figure of a dancer, a young girl with a bunch of grapes in her hand. Her head is decorated with a wreath made of grapevines. The elation she felt during the dance makes her look like a mythological bacchant, a manada, a participant in the procession of Dionysus. The figure is placed on a massive bell-shaped base.
