Description

A vase with a representation of birds and flowers, or a classic Japanese composition kachō-ga. The body of the vase was made of bronze by the Japanese artist, with decorations using engraving, chiseled applications from various copper alloys, shakudō (copper alloy with gold), shibuichi (copper alloy with silver) and gilding. Decorations made with extraordinary precision and attention to detail.
