SURPRISED BY THE WIND, L. Vergnano, terracotta, circa 1900

A sculptural group showing two children huddling in the cold and a woman, probably their mother, covering them with a robe. A moving image of caring for the youngest, even at your own expense, marked with the style of the turn of the century.

Italy / France, circa 1900
