FEMALE VASE, FA Piquemal, terracotta, France, Art Nouveau, circa 1900

An impressive vase for dried flowers with full-figure sculptural decorations. The vessel itself is shaped like a goblet. In the frontal view, the viewer appears to see a young woman walking through a field of flowers. This impression can be enhanced by the natural flowers placed on the back.
