Albert Carrier - Belleuse (1824-1887) - French sculptor, officially supported by Napoleon III. Teacher of many outstanding artists, e.g. Auguste Rodin and Alexandre Falguiere. His works gained international recognition. Today they can be seen in many distinguished cultural institutions, such as: Musée d'Orsay and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
