Description
The partially glazed stoneware figure depicts the goddess Kannon Bosatsu (Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara) sitting on a rock. The goddess of mercy sits on a rock, dressed in long robes, with a characteristic high cap on her head. At her side is a blue vase with cracklework. Flowey glaze in the "flambé" type.
