Preservation status: broken stick; glued head of the figure.

Multicoloured representation of the mighty Foo dog. Standing on all fours, it shows bared teeth. Their sharp edges contribute to the predatory nature of the animal, which according to beliefs is supposed to ward off evil powers and unwanted spirits.

The highly raised tail provides a fiery setting for the Guanin who rides it. Shown in a naked robe, it forms a figurative cover for the animalistic body of the vessel.
