Description
Bronze sculpture of a Laughing Boy. The marble original was made in 1460/64 by the Renaissance sculptor Desiderio da Settignano (ca. 1430-1464), a pupil of the famous Donatello, the forerunner of Renaissance sculpture. This work was once attributed to Donatello, hence the signature.
