LE PETIT FOU DE ROME, bronze, France, 19th century
A full-figure representation of the titular Roman jester. Shown with his legs spread wide, he is dressed in a large drapery with a hood.
Glancing with a smile into the space beyond the figure, he tilts his head noticeably. Having hidden his hands behind his back, he sees a chance for another mischief.
The whole thing was placed on a square base.
