
+Aki no Miyajima Autumn Moon, ukiyo-e triptych, Watanabe Nobukazu (1872 - 1944)
A ukiyo-e triptych depicting a woman and child in the company of a deer. Looking from the left one of the women is holding a traditional Japanese biwa lute, another is trying to feed the deer, a third is holding a child who is eagerly extending her arms towards the animal and a fourth is crouching holding a fan. In the background can be seen a large ishi-toro lantern, a tori gate, buildings in the distance and a full moon.
