Louis Icart (1888-1950) was a French painter and printmaker. In 1907 he settled in Paris realising a number of etchings and also developing postcards. He created title pages for the magazine La Critique Théâtrale and sketches and design drawings for local Fashion Houses. His etchings became particularly popular in the 1920s and 1930s.
